Engineering

It has been RPE’s core business since it was first established. To this date, RPE has developed and built its competencies in providing the complete solution for engineering services.

Basic / Conceptual Engineering Services

By accommodating and developing the client’s ideas, RPE is capable of producing from sketches up to a comprehensive engineering products that accurately ¬†fulfill the client’s needs for specific facilities. Whether its greenfield or brownfield facility, onshore or offshore, our lead engineers work closely with client, putting their expertise and experience forward to come up with the comprehensive engineering products,such as Engineering/Process Design Basis, PFDs, Plant Layout, Single Line Diagram, etc. Based on these engineering data, our lead Engineers together with the procurement Team will draw up an estimate of the the overall project cost, thus providing the necessary information that will assist the Client’s budget plans.

Front End Engineering Design (FEED) Services

FEED Services are developed from Basic/Conceptual Engineering Design with requirements to provide a more complete and through multi-discipline engineering products. For this purpose, RPE’s in-house engineering departments (process, civil/structural, mechanical, piping, electrical, instrumentation, marine, and pipeline) and the support from qualified and expert Lead and Senior Engineers, Sophisticated Software, Updated Standards and Codes, as well as technical libraries, are well-equipped to perform the FEED Services, including for onshore/off-shore facilities, greefield/brownfield type and other complexities. Based on vast experience and knowledge in engineering products, RPE is also capable of providing cost estimates and budgeting for EPC projects, as well as Material Take Off (MTO).

Detailed Engineering Services

Since its establishment, RPE has participated in detailed Engineering Services and has developed core competencies and know-how, including understanding Client expectation for services. Most of the Detailed Engineering Services are developed from FEED data & information and will be approved for construction engineering documents. RPE’s in-house all engineering discipline team, from lead engineer to draftsmen, are required to perform works related to construction and EPC project.

Call-Off/Blanket Engineering Services

Providing cost-effective solutions, call-off/blanket engineering services offers the client the opportunity to use RPE’s services according to its needs and budget requirements.

RPE also provide engineering designs for the following facilities, either as independent or integrated facilities:

Civil and Structural

Offshore Structure (Wellhead Platforms, Central Processing Platform, Deck Extension and modification, etc.), dams and drainage system, foundation, buildings, module supports and skids, and lifting analysis.

Mechanical and Piping

Pressure vessels (separators, scrubbers, pig launchers & receivers, slug catchers, etc.), equipment & piping layouts, isometrics, piping design and material selection and storage tanks/tank farms, pipe stress & vibration analysis.

Process

Process equipment (generators,dehydration system, acid gas removal packages, condensate separation & collection), process simulation, heat & material balance, SAFE Charts, HAZOP & HAZID, process studies, utility demands, equipment and line sizing.

Electrical

Power generation and distributions system, electrical equipment (electrical motor, switch gear, UPS, solar panel, etc.), one line diagrams, interconnection  diagrams,cable layout and specification and lighting protection.

Instrumentation

Instrument equipments (Multiphase Flowmeter, metering system,control valves, etc.), shutdown system, logic schematic diagram, I/O list, instrument specification and data sheets, instrument plot plan, control panel, and telecommunication system.

Marine

Jetties, harbor, mooring system, crude oil offloading system, sea-fastening, load out sequence studies, offshore installation analysis.

Pipeline

Onshore and offshore pipeline system, shore approach and trenching, hydraulic calculations, road and river crossing design.
